Pre-Press 
Welch has converted to a film-less, all-digital workflow.
Our Heidleberg Top Setter sets new standards for speed, reliability and flexibility. It features an industry proven thermal system and the ability to image 5 different size plates. This saves you time and money on all projects.  Welch also offers brilliant color digital proofing with a state of the art HP proofing system.

Digital Printing 
Our new Xerox DocuColor 6060 is ideal for shorter run, multi-page brochures and company reports that need cost effective 4-color flare. In line finishing includes saddlestitching up to 60 pages with multiple paper stocks on the same document. It also includes collating, corner stapling, folding and variable data all in line, on the fly.

Offset Lithography 
Our six-color press offers Heidleberg's latest state of the art technology. This amazing press offers:

• Inline aqueous coating so that each piece is dry as it comes off the rollers
• Storage of all pre-press and press information to the hard drive so reprints are quick and accurate
• Ability to hang its own plates and wash itself up to cut "Make Ready" time down to 30 minutes

And, it's the only press in the region that can print paper from 17 lb. onionskin to box weight board (30 pt.).

Welch also uses a 5-color Heidleberg Perfector with aqueous coating and a 40" 2-color Perfector. The 5-color Perfector allows the flexibility of printing 5 colors all on one side or two colors on one side and 3 on the other. The 2-color Perfector follows in it's big brothers footsteps by printing 2 colors on 1 side or 1 color on each side in 1 pass through the press.

Letterpress Department 
We score, die-cut, perforate and more.  And, we do it all in house.

Foil Stamp and Embossing 
These tasks are done in-house by a 30-year veteran.  You can be sure your foil stamp or emboss work will look superb.

CD Duplication 

Our CD Duplication Service can produce 1 to 5,000
CDs with full color labels or full color printing directly
on the CDs. And just like all of our other services, it's
all done in-house.

Bindery and Shipping 
From cutters to folders to collators to saddle stitchers, Welch does it all…
in-house. And, thanks to our proximity to UPS, we can drop-off finished jobs
as late as midnight and still have them delivered to your door by 8:00 a.m.
the next morning.
